Eye Health Examinations

The eye health examination is a critical part of any eye examination.  Drs. Waterman, Ohlbaum, and Van Slyke provide diagnosis and treatment/management of most eye conditions including dry eyes, allergies, infections, inflammatory eye disease (iritis), eye injuries, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal tears and detachments.

Our office is equipped with state-of-the-art special testing equipment including ultrasound pachymetry (corneal thickness measurement to assess glaucoma risk), GDX retinal nerve fiber analysis (glaucoma), frequency doubling and standard visual field testing, Optomap retinal scan, and corneal topography (checks for corneal distortion such as kerataconus).

If your condition requires diagnostic, laser, or surgical treatment that we cannot provide, you will be promptly referred to a specialist recommended by our doctors.
